BLACK TOMATOES

Black-fruited and chocolate tomatoes are valued for their attractive appearance, intense spicy aroma and rich taste. Black-fruited tomatoes have a higher concentration of lycopene, beta-carotene and ascorbic acid compared to red tomatoes. Black-fruited tomatoes show the best yield in closed ground conditions, although there are varieties that bear fruit well in any conditions (there are recommendations in the description of the varieties). Black-fruited tomato varieties are mainly for salad use and are not intended for long-term storage.
